First Photos From Ranbir Kapoor & Alia Bhatt's Wedding Are HereSouth Asian Wedding Neha Garg Ahuja
From developing a crush on him to saying ‘I love you to him on an award show in 2019, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s love story is no less than a fairytale where eventually the princess ends up with her prince charming. Alia, not once but quite a few times admitted that she wants to marry Ranbir, and now when she is married to the love of her life, we are in happy tears.
The two got married at their favorite spot at home - the balcony, in the presence of their closest friends and family. Alia took to her Instagram to share this happy news with some stunning photos of Mrs & Mr, hand-holding and sealing the deal with a kiss.
Her Instagram post read, "Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favorite spot - the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship - we got married.
With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites.
Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives. It has made this moment all the more special.
Ranbir and Alia ✨♥️"
Where Alia had been open about her feelings towards Ranbir, he has always been very subtle. In the interview with Rajeev Masand Ranbir did admit that marriage is on the cards soon. He said, “It would have already been sealed if the pandemic hadn't hit our lives. But I don't want to jinx it by saying anything. I want to tick mark that goal soon in my life." The most adorable part of the Brahmastra trailer launch event was when Ranbir asked Alia, When will we get married?” Now that they are finally married, we can't stop looking at their adorable pictures.
For the ceremony, Alia Bhatt wore a hand-dyed ivory organza sari embroidered with fine tilla work and an embroidered handwoven tissue veil. Paired with Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery featuring uncut diamonds and hand-strung pearls.
Complementing his gorgeous bride, Ranbir Kapoor wore an embroidered silk sherwani with Sabyasachi uncut diamond buttons, a silk organza safa and shawl with zari marori embroidery. The kilangi by Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery features uncut diamonds, emeralds, and pearls, and a multistrand pearl necklace.
We can't stop drooling over their wedding looks, so subtle, yet so beautiful.
We love the open hair, the minimal mehendi and the minimal makeup .
We have our eyes set on the elaborate Sispatti ✨
We can't help but notice her minimal kaleeras, only adding glitters to her look!
This is what love looks like ❤️
Loved loved loved her minimal mehndi design!
We have seen Alia in a wedding avatar quite a few times now whether it was her movies like 2 States or Kalank or her ads for Mohey and she has always taken our heart with her looks. Of course, Alia Bhatt-the bridesmaid was the inspiration for all the sisters and friends of the bride and groom out there, but now she is one of the Bollywood brides to get inspiration from, and we cannot talk enough about her looks. On the other hand, Ranbir has always been the person to keep it simple yet classy and glamorous, and oh boy he did not disappoint us with his broody groom looks at all.
Cheers to their happy beginnings ✨
