Farhan Akhtar & Shibani Dandekar Share Dreamy Photos From Their Wedding

Actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar and long-time girlfriend Shibani Dandekar tied the knot in Khandala at his parents, Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi's home on February 19. The wedding was an intimate affair, attended by close family and friends. The two made their first public appearance together at Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's wedding reception in 2018 and since then, their social media is filled with each other's photos, giving major relationship goals. 

The newlyweds had their haldi and mehndi ceremony in Mumbai at Farhan's house with guests arriving in floral-themed outfits. 

Farhan and Shibani didn’t get married in a traditional ceremony, instead, they wrote their own vows and promised to be with each other, forever, and later registered their marriage on February 21. 

The Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara actor, Farhan sang the song Tum Ho Toh for Shibani from his movie Rockstar and on the other hand, Shibani also dedicated a beautiful number for her main man and performed on John Legend’s All Of Me. It is also reported that Javed Akhtar had also recited a special poem for the newlyweds.

Bridal Look

Shibani made a breathtakingly beautiful bride in a customized coordinated set in a nude bodice featuring a strapless blouse with a sweetheart neckline, a floor-length mermaid silhouette skirt, and a lavish floor-sweeping train outfit by designer duo Monica and Karishma of JADE.

She completed her bridal look with a matching red tulle veil that was even longer than the train of her skirt.

The gorgeous bride accessorized her look with a pair of ruby Goenka India earrings and her hair was styled into voluminous waves by hairstylist, Reena Dutta. Her makeup was done by Cassandra Kehren only accentuated her bridal look.

Shibani's outfit was designed and styled by celebrity stylist Shaleena Nathani for the big day. 

Shibani held a bouquet of colorful flowers while she walked down the aisle with her father towards the love of her life. 

Groom Look

Complementing his bride, Farhan looked dapper in an all-black tuxedo designed by Govinda Mehta. 

Decor

Their intimate backyard wedding was no less than a dream, amidst a natural backdrop designed to accentuate the existing space by Altair Decor made the space look exceptionally beautiful with colorful blooms.
