Raveena & Saaket’s Royal Wedding In Jaipur's Most Beautiful Heritage Property

Singer and songwriter Raveena Mehta recently got hitched to her sweetheart Saaket Mehta, who is a US-based investor. The wedding was a 3-day star-studded affair with celebrities like Govinda in attendance. Saaket and Raveena met 7 years back at his grandparents’ 50th wedding anniversary and had been in a long-distance relationship since then.

Vision for the Wedding

The wedding was held in Rambagh Palace in Jaipur, which according to Raveen is the most beautiful heritage property.

Their relationship is rooted in being equals, and hence, it was important for them to integrate this aspect of their relationship into their wedding too!

Both Raveena and Saaket had their own baraats that started from the two ends of the Rambagh Palace and met in the middle for the var maala.

Raveena had her baraat to the tune of her rendition of tere jeya hor disda in a vintage Mercedes, the same car her father had his baraat in 26 years ago, while Saaket made his way from the other side of the walkway with baraat squad.

The Bridal Look

Raveena had Cannes-based makeup artist Joanna JM Ronquillo flown in to do her makeup for the wedding, mehendi and welcome lunch, whilst Israel-based Dora Phael did her makeup for a cocktail, sangeet, and pre-wedding mala. The hair was done by Aanchal Morwani of Hot Hair Balloon.

For the wedding, Raveena wore a Dimple Amrin piece, which was neutral colored with a gorgeous intricate floral design and had a 15 feet long veil.

For Sangeet, she opted for an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla lehenga which had stunning gold and silver embroidery with sequins on it.

The carnival mehendi outfit - ‘love story lehenga’ was customized for her by Dimple Amrin.

The lehenga had embroidery of every place the couple met in the course of their 7 years relationship along with the year and date.

For the welcome event, Raveena dazzled in a Manish Malhotra ensemble.

For the cocktail event Raveena again chose a Dimple Amreen gown which she paired with a statement neck piece and gosh! she looked ravishing!

For the wedding day, Saaket also opted for a Dimple Amrin outfit with similar colors to match Raveena’s outfit.

For the Sangeet and welcome event, he chose Manish Malhotra and looked nothing less than royalty. 

Tom Ford was the chosen designer for the cocktail party and needless to say Saaket looked dapper in the maroon velvet jacket and a bow tie.

Dimple Amrin piece also made an appearance in the carnival mehendi event which had colors perfectly matching Raveena’s love story lehenga.
