In May 1988, the Hindu American Temple and Cultural Center (HATCC) was established as a non-profit tax-exempt Corporation in New Jersey, becoming the pioneering organization in the state dedicated to fulfilling the spiritual, social, educational, and humanitarian needs of Hindu Americans.
