The owner of LA Henna was introduced to the art of henna at a young age during a henna party with their parents. What started as a hobby became a passion and eventually turned into a full-time business. In 2005, the owner opened their first henna booth in Melrose and shifted their focus to private parties and events. In 2012, they traveled to San Francisco to train with Ash Kumar, a UK celebrity henna artist who certified them as one of his trusted and preferred henna artists. LA Henna has had the pleasure of working for high-profile clients, including Disney, Nickelodeon, Sony, Halle Berry, Eddie Murphy, Jessica Biel, Ellen DeGeneres, and many others. Their work has been featured in several media outlets such as Time magazine, Fit Pregnancy, HGTV, MTV, and Universal Television.
