About

The Hindu Temple of Central Indiana (HTCI) was inaugurated on February 5, 2006, making it the first Hindu Temple in Indiana. With a mission to cater to the spiritual needs of Central Indiana’s Hindu families, it reflects the diversity of Hindu faith and culture. The Maha Kumbhabhishekam or consecration process took place on June 3, 2015. Constructed according to the ancient science of Indian architecture, "Sthapatya Vidya," the worship hall features 17 shrines, including Ganesha, Hanuman, Shiva, Krishna, and others, housed in four different gopurams, with the main tower standing over 99 feet tall.
